Feeling the Pressure

maketeevee has been a big supportor of the amulet project as well. He even gave a lightning talk about it at hackaday's euro conference! maketeevee had made a couple really really cool face plates. One of them is charlieplexing a whole lot of 0402 leds to form a caffeine molecule and the other one is the first case example of using a sensor on a face plate! This faceplate uses a ultra high resolution barometric pressure sensor that is so sensitive it can tell the change of elevation even within movements up and down within a meter! To take advantage of this and provide some visual feedback leds are arranged in a circle and light up "scrolling" the direction to represent going down or up. This thing is so cool, He sent me the two face plates and I HAVE to show them off every chance I get. Big thank you to maketeevee for this.
